👻 Carted — Community Terms & EULA

Effective: July 5, 2026 · These terms cover the "2 AM Room" and any user-generated content in Carted.

Carted's 2 AM Room is a small, kind place for people who are up late. To keep it that way, everyone who posts agrees to these rules. Using the room means you accept them.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and people who break them are blocked.

What you agree to when you post

No objectionable content. No hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, or violent content; no content that targets or demeans any person or group; no spam, scams, or advertising.
No personal information. Don't post anyone's private information (yours or others'), including full names, addresses, phone numbers, or account details.
Be gentle. People come here lonely and tired. Harassment, bullying, or cruelty toward other users is not allowed.
You own what you post and are responsible for it. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

How we keep the room safe

Filtering. Posts are automatically screened for objectionable content before they appear.
Reporting. Every post has a report button (🚩). Reported content is hidden pending review and acted on promptly (typically within 24 hours).
Blocking. Abusive users are blocked from the room.
Ephemerality. Posts burn at sunrise (4 AM) — nothing is permanent, and no one is keeping score.

"Resident ghosts" are fiction

Posts labeled 👻 "resident ghost" are friendly fictional content written by us to keep the room warm. They are not real people, and this is disclosed in the room.

If you're having a hard night

If a post suggests someone may be in crisis, we show a link to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988, free, 24/7 in the US). Carted is not a crisis service, a substitute for professional help, or a medical provider.

Enforcement

We may remove any content and restrict or block any user, at our discretion, to keep the room safe — including for conduct not explicitly listed above. Repeated or serious violations result in a permanent block.

The rest

Carted is a simulated experience — no real food is ordered and nothing is charged. The service is provided "as is," without warranties, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for user-generated content or for indirect or incidental damages. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the current version.
